Celebrating Addyson (Addy) Probst, 2026 Young Woman of Tomorrow
Each year, the Young Woman of Tomorrow award recognizes a young woman whose leadership, service, and determination are already making a difference in Waukesha County. Whether through school, athletics, or community involvement, these young women show how initiative at an early age can create opportunities for others and inspire their peers. In 2026, we are proud to recognize Addyson “Addy” Probst as this year’s Young Woman of Tomorrow.
Introducing Addy:
A senior at Waukesha North High School, Addyson (Addy) Probst is known as a powerhouse of leadership, academic excellence, and community service with a determination and maturity uncharacteristic of a young woman her age.
She’s served on her Class Board throughout high school and has been an active member of Student Council. A driving force in improving the district and the community at large, Addy was nominated as one of 15 members of SALT (Student Athlete Leadership Team).
As a sophomore, Addy founded a new school club, Female Athletes Stronger Together (FAST), to raise awareness of female athletics at her school and empower athletes to lead. She’s grown FAST to more than 45 members and raises funds to offer a scholarship – with interest from other schools.
Through FAST, Addy led a leadership conference in February 2026, FASTForward, to bring together female student-athletes from over 18 schools across southeastern Wisconsin for a day of workshops, speakers, and collaborative activities.
She’s also a two-time captain in track and field, volunteers in Key Club, served as president of HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America), among other organizations. In addition, Addy holds multiple jobs, all while maintaining her academic standing.
Addy seeks out challenges that bridge the gap between high school and her future career. Upon graduation, she will have completed 10 Advanced Placement courses; she’s also a four-time scholar athlete, and a student in the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program – all a testament to her intellectual stamina.
Plus, she’s completed her Nursing Assistant Certification with an A+ in an accelerated program – a clear indicator of her readiness for a career in healthcare, with a desire to pursue a degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Arizona to work as a physician’s assistant in the Navy.
A member of her church’s youth group and active with the Young Philanthropy Group of the Women and Girls Fund, Addy displays her heart of service with a combined 450 hours of community service.
She works tirelessly to pull others up with her – a rare combination of high-level intelligence and deep empathy. Her favorite quote: “Don’t wait for the change. Be the change.”
